GO-JEK’S SUPER APP
The report of “The State of Mobile 2019” mentioned that Go-Jek achieved the highest number of active monthly users during 2018 and it proves 1.5 times higher than the competitors. Go-Jek has provided a better platform for its application as it has been downloaded more than 142 million times. According to YouGov (2019) and Financial Times Confidential (2018), they refer Go-pay as the number one instrument for payment in Indonesia with 9 billion dollars in gross transactions. Currently, Go-Jek has 1.7 million driver-partners, more than 60 thousand service providers, and nearly 400 thousand merchant partners all over Southeast Asia, namely Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines (coming soon), includes Indonesia. No wonder Go-Jek could achieve that big number of downloaders as they have provided a super app for its driver merchants.
The super app is provided for drivers and merchants. The driver’s super app is named “Swadaya“. It is provided to the drivers as a partner to offer them what they could not have for all this time. The features are educational savings, future savings collaborate with Bank BNI, umrah savings collaborate with BNI Syariah, handphone installment collaborates with Findaya, home installment collaborate with BTN, and daily need shopping vouchers. It proves that by providing driver’s super app, Go-Jek helps financial inclusion which increases the number of banking access. Additionally, the merchant’s super app stand as an independent application that offer several features, such as; POS system (sales tracking, attendance, and cash flow management), deals and vouchers (online and offline deals to customers), financial services (loans and invoice financing), and other payments (accept debit and credit card).
