FINANCE PROGRAM MOU WITH AIF ZHEJIANG UNIVERSITY

The Academy of Internet Finance (AIF) from Zhejiang University, that located in Hangzhou, China, had a visitation to Bina Nusantara University on 25 September 2019. The purpose of their visitation was to conduct a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Finance program. Professor Ben Shenglin as the Dean of AIF and International Business School led the team to conduct the MoU. Previously, the Dean of Accounting and Finance Study Program, Mr. Gatot Soepriyanto had a visit to AIF, Zhejiang University, at the end of 2018. The discussion regarding the collaboration between the two universities were keep being upgraded and hence we received a visit from AIF, Zhejiang University to finally sign the MoU

AIF is a pioneer University that could offer the Financial Technology curriculum since they are one of the foremost FinTech hubs in China and the world. AIF cooperates with several schools as well as research cooperation. In the short-term, both Binus and AIF agree to collaborate in terms of a short course (summer school) that hosted by AIF around 3 – 4 weeks as well as a webinar. For the long-term, both parties agree to conduct exchange programs for the students and faculty members and internship. Through this collaboration, we hope that the finance program could have more added value by benchmarking AIF, Zhejiang University.
