Research Presentation by Maria Jose, Spain

Maria Jose Ayala Marin, a Faculty Member from Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM), Spain, presented her research to Finance program faculty members. She conducted research about google search volume index and how it may impact the stock markets. It has been accepted in Financial Innovation, a Scopus Q1, and expected to be published around June 2024. Interestingly, her recommendation on the article is that to explore the google search volume index in the cryptocurrency markets. Therefore, it opens a potential research collaboration with Shinta, a Finance program faculty member who specializes in cryptocurrency. This could be a great opportunity of research collaboration in the near future.
